Tea Festival Volunteers  Jobs

Each volunteer will be entitled to free entry for themselves and 3 friends.

Front Desk, Registration 

Greeting visitors,  selling and obtaining pre-sold tickets, handing out event program,  monitoring number of people in the building, directing media, VIPs and volunteers to appropriate places and people.

Exhibitor Support

Helping exhibitors to set up their booths and provide assistance during the festival, such as covering their stations when needed,  bringing water (also hot), cleaning dishes/teapots, working as a liaison between vendors and event coordinators.

Site Crew

Setting up and taking down of the festival site: tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, decorations etc.

Security issues, maintaining clean safe environment, collecting and disposing of cups etc.

Class Assistance

Assisting speakers with their classes and presentations,  help with serving tea samples, ushering people to their seats, monitoring number of people entering class and ensuring that class goes smoothly.

Tea Fashion Show & Downton Abbey Photo Booth Crew

Helping with setting up the stage, dressing area, guiding participants, help coordinating event.  Taking photos. Good camera a plus.

Tea Cup Competition

Collecting, cups, placing on display, supervision of the display, taking photographs of the teacups, collecting votes, returning cups to owners (2-4pm)

Door Prize Supervisors

Collecting door prizes from vendors and sponsors, setting up door prize display, interacting with the attendees.

Door prizes will be drawn every 1 hr.

Event Marketing/Social Media/Photographer/Videographer

This position will require interaction with vendors, speakers, attendees, other volunteers. Creativity and marketing experience a plus. This is a great opportunity to practice and promote this spectrum of skills. 

This position will require participation in one pre-festival planning committee meeting.

Chief Coordinator

Ensuring everything is running smoothly. Liaison between vendors, speakers, attendees, even crew, media, volunteers.

Help with overall supervision of the event. Attending one pre-festival meeting is required.
